On July 8th 2015 The Incarnations of Joe Book 1- The Key officially went on sale. After two years of hard work I would have at one point believed that this would have been the end of the road for this project. As it turns out this is barely the beginning. The truth is just as others had described it to be. I have written a book and nobody cares. Well to say nobody cares would likely be offensive to my parents, my wife, and family. Perhaps some of my closest friends might feel slightly snubbed to have me say that nobody cares. The truth is that at this stage those that care do it more so because they care about me, than because they care about the book.
With so many ways to spend your time, to choose reading seems a long shot from the start. With millions of available choices to have a stranger choose my work seems nearly impossible. So I guess until I succeed, or until I grow to tired to trying any longer my task is to either find new ways for strangers to find, and then choose to read my work. Or perhaps I could just head outside and make new friends so that strangers become familiar, and new friends enjoy my work. Either way, win or lose, stand or fall, I feel a great sense of personal satisfaction for having tried. The end result will never truly be known until it is in fact, the end.
